Come and stay at Emitie's charming 17th Century village guest house
situated at the heart of the Alsace wine producing area of France.

La Maison d’Emilie guest house is situated in the tranquil village of Pfaffenheim, one of the villages on the Alsace wine route, in Ballons des Vosges National Park and just a few kilometres from the historic city of Colmar.
lt is located in the middle of the regions vineyards.

The home has been completely renovated inside to provide all modern comforts, whilst retaining the old world charm of its 17th century origins.

La Maison d’Emilie guest house features a terrace, shared living room, dining area and open kitchen.

Emilie has fitted the rooms to give you all the modern comforts of your own home.
Each room is unique, combining the best of the modern with the traditional in keeping with the age of the house.
All rooms are fitted with flat screen TV, wifi access, and a private bathroom.
However the old rustic charm of village life is reflected in the antique wooden furniture in the rooms.
Best quality Linvosges bed linen is provided.
A cot, for children under four, is provided free of charge.

lf you want to enjoy excellent food then what better place to stay than at the home of a chef.
The master of the house, Guillaume trained in a number of starred establishments before his current job as chef of the kitchen at the Chateau D'lsenbourg boutique hotel.

You will love our proper local breakfast; the aroma and taste of freshly baked bread, the delicious flavours of homemade jams and the famous Alsace pastries (Kongehopt and others).

We would also invite you to take the opportunity to dine at our own table on several evenings during the week. This will need to be booked separately.
Guillaume will dream up a menu, taking his inspiration from the seasonal produce of the time, and use his master’s skills to cook it to local or international recipes, depending on your tastes. These meals will be complemented by fine local wines or other beverages to give you a culinary treat.

Situated at the tranquil heart of the local vineyards, the village of Pfaffenheim is an ideal base from which to explore Alsace.
The village is the start point for many paths, tracks and Ianes to be explored in the surrounding area.
The main road takes you, after a few kilometres, to the delights of Colmar and the celebrated villages of Eguisheim, Kayserberg, Ribeauville and Riquewihr, internationally famed for their superb Christmas Markets.
Less than an hour away are the bright lights of Strasbourg and Basel, lt takes the same time to get to the mountains and forests of The Vosges region with its lakes, skiing and scattered chateaux.

Ski slopes can be found 30 km away and Mulhouse is just a 30-minute drive away.
The A36 motorway is ideally located 9 km from the property and free private parking is available on site.
