Les Chaumières de Kerimel
Overview
This delightful ancient typical Breton farm of the XVIIth century is composed of several buildings surrounding a large yard with lawns and flowerbeds.
You'll find it in Ploemel just a few miles away from beaches of Carnac, the harbours of Etel and La Trinité, at the entrance of the Quiberon's peninsula.
Nicolas will give you a hearty welcome, his organic breakfasts with homemade jams are delicious.
Since 5 years we brew beer, and we'll be very happy to serve you our home made beer.
This haven of peace sustainable tourism-oriented obtained the European eco-label for touristic accomodation in 2013, thus developing the hot water solar production, 100 % stemming from renewable energies electricity and home-made products (jams, apple juice, yoghurt, brioche…) made out of ingredients produced by organic agriculture.
The 5 guest rooms are situated in a newly restored farmhouse, with delightful furniture and tasteful decoration.
All are en-suite with private entrance.
All our rooms are quiet with access to the large garden.
Downstairs, you'll find a large breakfast-room with its impressive fireplace and e lounge and library reserved for our guests.
We offer you to eat crepe (as many as you want…) two or three time a week except on monday and friday during the school time. They are served with home made or local organic cider.
Our crepes are made out of organic buckwheat or white wheat flour.
You'll spend a peaceful and cosy stay in the heart of a region combining culture, nature and cuisine.
You will find a local market almost every morning, to discover the good products of our area.
Come to visit the standing-stones of Carnac and feel the energy coming out of the britany’s rock.
The good wibes will swing you in a good sleep, otherwize good local beers can do the same.
The Etel’s river is full of legends just like the standing stones of Carnac : some of them are true.

It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
