Le Jardin de Mazan
Overview
Le Jardin de Mazan is located in a picturesque village in the heart of Provence. The village is nestled at the base of the Mont Ventoux and surrounded by the famous Ventoux vineyards.
Being situated in the heart of the Comtat Venaissin makes it easy to reach other well-known parts of Provence from the lavender fields of Sault and l’Isle sur la Sorgue, the antiques capital of France, to Avignon with its great city walls and famous bridge.
The house has been meticulously restored to retain much of its XIV and XVII century charm. Original features such as the stunning XVII century staircase showcase the character and period of the house. This is completed by the beautiful garden which surrounds the house and includes a typical Provencal style swimming pool as well as a grand 100-year-old cedar tree.
Agnes and Eric welcome you to stay in one of their 5 spacious bedrooms which combine the original authenticity of the house with the addition of some discreet modernisations: a king size bed, modern bathrooms, air-conditioning, television and Wi-Fi.
Dinner at Le Jardin de Mazan is available on request. Eric’s cuisine prides itself in keeping with the beautiful setting. He will share with you some traditional dishes and local specialities which are full of flavour and lovingly made with fresh local produce. The simplicity and authenticity reflect the atmosphere of the house and combined with local wines including
Côtes du Ventoux, Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pape ... you will have a truly unforgettable experience dining in the garden, by the pool in a peaceful and magical surround.
With great knowledge and passion for the Provence region, Agnes and Eric will be delighted to share the hidden secrets and gems of this fantastic area, creating a unique experience.

SUGGESTIONS FOR REVIEWERS
Describe the key elements of the accommodations : decor, hospitality, value, housekeeping, setting, and/or meals. What were the highlights of your stay? A comfortable bed and elegant decor? The convenient location? The delicious breakfasts and afternoon snacks? The hospitality of the innkeepers? Extra amenities and/or advice for business or vacation travel? If in the area again, would you return? Recommend to friends?
Be both honest and fair : We feature various types of accommodation - some more luxurious than others ... Criteria of charm vary from person to person
We offer a wide selection of quality guesthouses for all tastes and budgets
It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
Things can go wrong in the best of guesthouses, and the difference between an average place and a great one is how the innkeepers address the problem when something unexpected occurs.
Avoid hyperbole : Reviews that include only effusive praise or complete condemnation are rarely helpful or even credible.
Innkeeper responses : There are at least two sides to every story (often three!). The reviews posted on the Charming Guest Rooms website are taken seriously by innkeepers.
We reserve the right for innkeepers to respond to any review.
