Overview
The Hameau de la Savouillane is situated in Buis-les-Baronnies, in Drôme provençale, 50 km (about 30 miles) north-east of Avignon and 100 km (about 60 miles) south-east of Montélimar.
Buis-les-Baronnies is located in the heart of the Regional Nature Park of the Baronnies provençales, to the north of Mont Ventoux; the Ouvèze river runs through it. The landscape surrounding it is typical of the southern Alpine foothills, with medium-high valleys (500 to 800 metres, i.e. from 1,600 to 2,600 feet) in blue marl dominated by east-west-oriented limestone ridges whose altitude varies from 1,000 to 1,850 metres (3,300 to 6,000 feet). The Baronnies have been a land of refuge and resistance throughout history and are still maintaining today a tradition of hospitality, animated by the same free spirit as of yore.

Le vendredi et le samedi soir, table d'hôtes. Tous nos repas sont préparés avec des produits frais, locaux et la plupart bio. Nous accordons une attention particulière à la qualité de notre sélection, ne cuisinant que des fruits et légumes de saison du marché et des paysans locaux. Les viandes proviennent de fournisseurs des environs.

5 1Nous sommes ravis d'avoir séjourné dans cet endroit magnifique et reposant. Nos hôtes ont été particulièrement accueillants et très sympathiques nous racontant un peu leur histoire. La cave à vin vous met tout de suite dans une atmosphère amicale. La chambre, le paysage et l'emplacement sont à tomber. Le petit déjeuner est parfait. Nous n'avons pas pu découvrir la restauration car nous y étions en semaine mais les conseils de nos hôtes ont été très satisfaisants. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.
