Bruckless House, the home the Evans family, is an attractive 18th century Classical house.

Listed nationally as a protected building, it has a traditional cobbled farmyard and is set in 18 acres of parkland.

Bruckless House borders Bruckless Bay, and has a spacious informal award-winning garden of the Robinsonian kind.

It features in the Donegal Garden Trail and in guides to Irish gardens.

There is mature woodland around the House which is carefully developed and protected.

Bruckless House is a Failte Ireland approved Irish Country Home which offers four bedrooms for Bed and Breakfast from May to September each year: a twin, a double and two single rooms.

Bruckless House is surrounded by a two acre garden which stetches down to the sea.
Fine beech trees have survived from the original planting in the eighteenth century. These magnificent trees provide a backdrop for sheltered woodland, spacious lawns, mixed beds and exotic shrubs.
Bruckless House Gardens is featured in the Donegal Garden Trail and is open to the public in May and June, by appointment.

Bruckless House gardens have direct access to the sea.
From the reception rooms there are beautiful views over the lawns, through the mature trees and down to the shore.
The garden trail around the house takes in 15 points of interest....deciduous Azaleas and large Magnolia Stellata, a wooded area with a young Dividia and various large leaved Rhododendrons.

Connemara ponies are bred here and can be seen in the parkland and grazing down to the shore-line.

From Bruckless House the visitor can explore the many interesting and significant local archaeological sites or simply enjoy some of the most beautiful and unspoilt Atlantic Coastline.

Sea angling, shore diving and horseback riding in the immediate vicinity.

Bruckless House is a suitable base to explore Slieve League (the highest sea cliffs in Europe) and Glenveigh National Park.

There are two golf courses within easy reach, as well as several excellent restaurants.
