Overview

L'Hort de Sant Cebrià is a charming bed and breakfast which offers a refined and relaxing setting for a romantic getaway.

Its owners, Juan Carlos and Jordi, care for every detail and advice you to make sure that your stay in the heart of the Empordà becomes unforgettable.

Built at the beginning of last century as headquarters for the Guardia Civil (Spain’s rural police) this sturdy stone house has recovered all its charm after a recent renovation.

On the ground floor the guests have exclusive access to two spacious rooms: a nice dining-room with our honesty-bar and a superb living room overlooking a well-kept garden, with a fireplace and a library.
Everybody can find a place to sit in its five comfortable sofas!

On the first floor, from the windows of our five wide rooms and our Suite you can enjoy beautiful views over the green surroundings.

All the furniture and the materials, fabrics and colours in the house have been chosen by the owners to create an elegant, peaceful, relaxing atmosphere and make you feel at home.

The price of the rooms includes a buffet of high quality local products: cold meat from Sart in L'Armentera; cheese and yoghurt from Mas Marsè in Siurana d'Empordà, fresh fruit, bread and homemade pastries. It also offers natural juices, Nespresso coffee, Twinings tea, jams, cereals...

L’Hort de Sant Cebrià belongs to the 4 ''espigas'' category (wheat ears) awarded by the the Government of Catalonia and offers all the services you’d expect to find in high quality accommodation.

In order to guarantee our guests’ rest we only welcome families with children over 12.

Torroella is a quite little town with nice Stone houses surrounded by apple groves, sunflowers and olive trees.
It is set in an agricultural area and it has managed to stay far from the tourist pressure and keep its authenticity although it’s just 3 km from the sea.

It is located in the heart of the Ampurdà and close to the long sandy beach of Sant Pere Pescador, one of the last unspoilt beaches of the Catalan coast line.

It’s the perfect place to visit the main Costa Brava attractions, numerous charming medieval villages, the Dali triangle, monumental Girona and the nieghbouring region of la Garrotxa.

Due to its small size and the limited service offer, it’s not recommended for people travelling without a private car. However it’s a great destination for those travelling by bike: it’s a flat area and there’s a railway station along the line connecting Figueres and Barcelona just 5 km away.
Sant Pere Pescador a village 3 km far from Torroella, offers a wide range of various services.
