Overview
Built more than 900 years ago as a monastery and first settlement in the Hamlet of Tayac. It is 1 km / 8 minutes walk from the centre of Les Eyzies. So you can enjoy nature despite the proximity to restaurants and the bustle of the main town.
Decorated in the warm colours of the Périgord, the comfortable guest rooms are equipped with a shower room, soft towels, bathrobes and pool towels, tea equipment and bath products. Three rooms offer direct access to a garden area.
If the weather permits, Eleonore will serve you breakfast in the garden. Baked goods and jams "fait maison" are included. We can prepare an evening menu for you if you book in advance.
In the two lounges you will find a Nespresso machine, a large selection of teas, a fridge and seating areas.
At the pool with its 12x5 m next to the historic tobacco barn you will find sun loungers and seating.
In the spacious and flowery garden you will find 2 covered terraces and further romantic seating areas for a pique-nique at lunchtime or a sun downer in the evening.

Canoe rentals and horse rides are only 5 minutes away from our domicile. Hiking and cycling trails start right outside our door. Very good bicycles can be rented and they will be delivered directly to you if ordered in advance.
The 1000 castles and châteaux, 10 of the most beautiful villages in France, numerous prehistoric caves, medieval bastides, parks and gardens, all are in amazing proximity. An immense wealth of culture and history.
You will also find history in our house. Cédric will be happy to play you music on one of the many gramophones. Enjoy Edith Piaf, Yves Montand, Josephine Baker or even Elvis in the fireplace lounge. Use the library on the first floor, which has books in French, English, German and other languages.

- A20, coming from Paris: exit n°17 in the direction of Montignac/Lascaux. Once in Les Eyzies, cross the village and turn right before the level crossing towards the Tayac fortified church. You will find us right next to the church and the car park. A20, coming from Toulouse: exit at Souillac in the direction of Sarlat, later in the direction of Les Eyzies. Once in Les Eyzies, cross the village and turn right before the level crossing towards the fortified church of Tayac. A89, coming from Bordeaux: Please take the exit Périgueux-East. Then take the direction of Les Eyzies (Sarlat). If you come via Manaurie, turn left after the Vézère bridge, the entrance to the village and after the level crossing, towards the fortified church of Tayac.
