The villa Glen-Tara is located in Taussat-les-Bains in the heart of the Bassin d'Arcachon (commune of Lanton).
At 200 meters from the beach and in the center of the village, everything is easy for you to spend a stay in peace.
Villa Glen-Tara is a villa of character that has remained authentic in the Arcachon style. It offers a stay where simplicity and conviviality will pace your days.
At 2 km from Andernos-les-Bains, a seaside resort easily accessible by secure cycle paths, you can enjoy all the local activities, stroll along the shopping streets, relax on the beach or even enjoy oysters from producers In their typical oyster huts.
You can of course discover the whole of the Basin from this central point, by bike for the sportiest, or by using the shuttle from Andernos.
The Villa Glen-Tara is entirely dedicated to its guests. Its 5 rooms of hosts are distributed on 2 levels:
3 rooms on the ground floor (including a room accessible to people with reduced mobility) and 2 family suites on the first floor, with their lounge area and capacity for 4 people.
Each room where suite has a bathroom and private toilets.
A pleasant bow-window room welcomes you for your breakfast, while a lounge and its chimney offer you all their conviviality.
A special care has been given to the decoration as well as to the various elements of comfort, especially with beds of quality and French manufacture.

5 2Pour une première sur le bassin d'Arcachon et en chambre d'hôtes, c'est une réussite : Taussat est un village au charme désuet parfaitement placé pour découvrir la région en profitant du calme que ne peuvent fournir les grands pôles touristiques. La villa Glen-Tara s'insère parfaitement dans ce cadre, chaque chambre proposant son ambiance, nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour la Toulouse-Lautrec (nous avons choisi d'occuper 2 chambres en 5 jours), et découvert l'histoire de l'artiste sur Taussat... et dans cette demeure. Vraiment une adresse à retenir. Merci. Jean
