In the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, Clos Marcamps guest house is less than half an hour from Bordeaux, the Citadelle de Blaye and Saint-Emilion, all UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Our family home is a 19th-century Carthusian monastery with 5 guest rooms and a duplex with 2 bedrooms set in parkland planted with trees over a hundred years old, offering an authentic, intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
The recent renovation of our accommodation combines the charm of the past with contemporary luxury.
For your comfort, our 5 guest rooms and our duplex are spacious and fully-equipped, and all have independent access to a terrace, air conditioning, WiFi connection and high-quality bedding.

And if you want to leave us for the day, we can help you organise your travel. On foot, by bike or by car, there are many ways to discover the Bordeaux vineyards.

25 sqm. In shades of bluish grey, punctuated by antique objects and contemporary furniture, the Côté Jardin room opens onto a terrace extending out into the garden. Top-of-the-range bedding, walk-in shower, flat-screen TV, courtesy tray.

Le Pigeonnier
30 sqm. Decorated in soft shades of grey, ‘Le Pigeonnier’ features a ground-floor lounge with an open-plan shower room, while the double bed is located on the mezzanine floor upstairs, and a terrace.

30 sqm. Decorated in soft tones of linen and taupe, the Côté Puits bedroom comprises a ground floor lounge with an open-plan shower room. The mezzanine has a 160cm double bed and a bed for a 3rd person.

The Côté Campagne suite has its own private spa. By prior arrangement, our masseuses will come to Clos Marcamps to offer you relaxing or revitalising massages and facial treatments. Massages can be given in your room or in the grounds.

It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
Things can go wrong in the best of guesthouses, and the difference between an average place and a great one is how the innkeepers address the problem when something unexpected occurs.
Avoid hyperbole : Reviews that include only effusive praise or complete condemnation are rarely helpful or even credible.
