Guest house of charm, A Mandria will welcome you in the center of the charming village of Murato where Pascal Paoli decided to strike the 1st Corsican currency. Murato is famous for its pisan church of the XIIth Century Saint Michel, its gastronomy, and for its historical past.
Located ideally in the heart of the Nebbio region at 500m height, Murato is situated between the city of Bastia and Saint Florent, at the gates of the Balagne region and of the Cap Corse. Hence, you can choose to discover our colourful mountains or breathtaking seashores. Between heritage and traditions, landscape and flora, you will understand why Corsica is one of the most surprising island. We invite you to taste our summer evenings full of Corsican freshness, quietness and conviviality.
Elegant and sophisticated, this former sheepfold in dry stones dates back from the XVIIth Century; it was transformed to welcome you in the respect for our traditions. We offer you short-term and long-term stay with a bed and breakfast formula, or in individual house or studio flat.
They are three bedrooms: the Regina (bed 63in x 79in ), the Colomba (twin beds 53in x 72in ), and finally The Stella (bed 55in x 72in ). Decorated carefully with taste, the bedrooms will seduce you by their comfort; their individual toilets, and their bathrooms composed of Italian style shower or bathtub.
A cosy lounge located in the ground floor will lead you to an opened room with a shaded terrace where breakfast will be served to you. Plentiful breakfasts are made of seasonal fruits, croissants as well as bread rolls accompanied with honey and homemade jams.
