Maison de Myon

Overview
Myon is a 17th century mansion with character that has been restored and decorated with style, precision and according to the rules of the art, and presents itself as a stately dwelling of 800 sqm where the classic and the contemporary perfectly match.
To the connoisseur of beautiful simplicity, this tasteful villa offers a peaceful place amid the city as well as comfortable casualness... richly faceted spaces for a first-rate time-out.
Need to stop over? Feeling like to sojourn in an exceptional and hospitable setting that offers calm, comfort and conviviality?
The Myon guesthouse just suits these needs!
This amazing place is tucked away in the middle of a quarter once devoted to canonical life in the heart of 18th century Nancy. At that very time the city went through the most distinguished period of its urban development.
The Place Stanislas, it's choicest part, is just a few steps away.
Martine Quénot transformed this private residence into a guesthouse, furnishing and decorating it with exquisite taste. Ever since, the lady of the house has been extending a warm and genuine welcome to her guests.
She offers her guests a choice of rooms, lofts, reception rooms, transformed barns and a library.
The main building opens to an inner courtyard, often bathed in light which gives access to the outbuildings. Stonework and wrought iron work mix together in the ancestral cellars which provide both the professional connoisseur and the oenologist with a magnificent setting for their wine-tastings.
This part of the house can serve a multitude of purposes. Several services – individual or combined – can be recommended: sight-seeing stays, VIP receptions, meal organising, festive dinners, business lunches, meals with friends or within the family.
It is also very much suited for holding seminars and courses, performing tastings of wine and of the region’s specialties or cooking courses.

SUGGESTIONS FOR REVIEWERS
Describe the key elements of the accommodations : decor, hospitality, value, housekeeping, setting, and/or meals. What were the highlights of your stay? A comfortable bed and elegant decor? The convenient location? The delicious breakfasts and afternoon snacks? The hospitality of the innkeepers? Extra amenities and/or advice for business or vacation travel? If in the area again, would you return? Recommend to friends?
Be both honest and fair : We feature various types of accommodation - some more luxurious than others ... Criteria of charm vary from person to person
We offer a wide selection of quality guesthouses for all tastes and budgets
It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
Things can go wrong in the best of guesthouses, and the difference between an average place and a great one is how the innkeepers address the problem when something unexpected occurs.
Avoid hyperbole : Reviews that include only effusive praise or complete condemnation are rarely helpful or even credible.
Innkeeper responses : There are at least two sides to every story (often three!). The reviews posted on the Charming Guest Rooms website are taken seriously by innkeepers.
We reserve the right for innkeepers to respond to any review.
