Overview
MAISON de la Bonne Vie is a B&B where personality, luxury and service are celebrated.
In addition to our beautiful rooms and common areas, we also share our hospitality on an unprecedented level.
Our B&B offers a warm shared living room with a beautiful fireplace and a comfortable sofa.
Here you can read a book, have a drink and socialize.
Additionally, the open kitchen with a large communal table is ideal for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You can also have your own table, just the two of you.
Outside there is a beautifully landscaped garden, with a terrace just behind the house, beautiful when it is cooler in the evening or a little windy.
At the highest point of the garden you will find a terrace which enjoys the sun all day and where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley, sometimes you can see the neighbor moving his cows and calves.
The swimming pool is large. You can swim a few lengths or cool off a little on the beach, the 30 cm deep platform located in front of the swimming pool. Enjoying a drink or fanatically maintaining your fitness, everything is possible. The swimming pool is heated so that we can offer you a nice warm pool from May to September. Depending on the outside temperature, the swimming pool is also accessible before May 1st and after September 30th.
Our restaurant has the concept of table d'hôtes. At MAISON de la Bonne Vie you can “eat with us”, of course we make it something special. We develop changing menus every day.
Guido always announces what's on the menu. Our guests decide for themselves whether they wish to participate, either at the large table with other guests or in a private setting as a couple.
The table d'hôtes is accessible to everyone, even to outside guests, provided they know the participants one day in advance. In fine weather we serve guest tables outside.
Guido makes sure to source as much fresh produce from the region as possible: eggs, milk, cheese, meat, etc. come from local farmers.
The wine cellar is well stocked and in addition to our house wine you can taste many French white and red wines so that we have a wine suitable for every dish. You can also enjoy a glass of rosé by the pool in the afternoon.

Welcome in our restaurant, we are a petit restaurant with maximum 15 couverts. When all our guest from the B&B participate for dinner, we have limited places left for guest from outside. Guido prepares the meals as much as possible with ingredients from around our area. Always make reservations at least 1 day in advance.
Sport & Hiking
Our region is a real walking and cycling region. The many marked routes are fantastic. You can visit the many beautiful mountain areas or the old medieval villages. With many beautiful views and amazing nature, it is a true walking and cycling paradise.
Waterfront Guest Houses
Lake Sarrans offers many water sports options. It is a wonderful place for swimming, boating and jet skiing. It is a very quiet place, so you do not have to worry about nuisance from various recreationalists.

It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
Things can go wrong in the best of guesthouses, and the difference between an average place and a great one is how the innkeepers address the problem when something unexpected occurs.
