Domaine de Perches
Overview
The Domaine de Perches offers two suites and two guest bedrooms, all elegant, comfortable and peaceful, in a beautifully restored XVII century wine chateau.
The house sits on a hillside, surrounded by four hectares of parkland with a lily pond, rose gardens and a variety of mature trees, and it overlooks twenty hectares of vineyard. Our guests can also enjoy our 5x12 m ozone-treated swimming pool with its generous sun terrace, the tennis court, the fitness centre and the table-tennis.
Each spacious, quiet room or suite has been individually designed, with special attention to the quality of the furniture, beds (180×200), linens and bath or shower room.
Several evenings each week you can dine at the Domaine de Perches, either in our dining room, or on the covered pool-side terrace with lovely views of the valley and beyond. Our cuisine is based on fresh local produce, so reservation is essential for our table d’hote dinners.
From 14 July to the end of August the minimum stay is 3 nights.
Perches is at the heart of the golden triangle: Gaillac – Cordes sur Ciel – Albi (UNESCO World Heritage site), near the most beautiful medieval villages and bastides in the Southwest of France: Castelnau de Montmiral, Penne, Puycelsi, St Antonin Noble Val, Najac… and just 35 minutes from Toulouse and its international airport of Blagnac.
The Tarn and surrounding area offer a wide and varied menu from such cultural interests as music festivals, exploring historic bastide villages (Cordes sur Ciel, Bruniquel, Penne …) discovering museums and galleries (Toulouse Lautrec in Albi, Ingres in Montauban, Goya in Castres and the Fondation Bemburg in Toulouse)… to a range of sporting activities (golf, walking, horse-riding, biking, canoeing on the Aveyron and Tarn).

SUGGESTIONS FOR REVIEWERS
Describe the key elements of the accommodations : decor, hospitality, value, housekeeping, setting, and/or meals. What were the highlights of your stay? A comfortable bed and elegant decor? The convenient location? The delicious breakfasts and afternoon snacks? The hospitality of the innkeepers? Extra amenities and/or advice for business or vacation travel? If in the area again, would you return? Recommend to friends?
Be both honest and fair : We feature various types of accommodation - some more luxurious than others ... Criteria of charm vary from person to person
We offer a wide selection of quality guesthouses for all tastes and budgets
It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
Things can go wrong in the best of guesthouses, and the difference between an average place and a great one is how the innkeepers address the problem when something unexpected occurs.
Avoid hyperbole : Reviews that include only effusive praise or complete condemnation are rarely helpful or even credible.
Innkeeper responses : There are at least two sides to every story (often three!). The reviews posted on the Charming Guest Rooms website are taken seriously by innkeepers.
We reserve the right for innkeepers to respond to any review.
