Overview
The charming, family-owned Château d’Omiécourt is set in landscaped, 16-hectare grounds close to the Somme battlefields.
The view over a verdant expanse framed by century-old trees induces a true sense of tranquillity and relaxation.
This magical location is just 15 minutes away from the historic town of Péronne and its nature reserve around the ponds of the river Somme, 45 minutes from Amiens (with its magnificent Gothic cathedral) and Compiègne (with its "Château Impérial") and one hour from Paris and Lille.
The Château d’Omiécourt offers a range of options for leisure breaks or business stopovers, with B&B and two comfortably furnished gites.
The Château itself can accommodate 12 B&B guests, whereas the separate Ormieux gite can host up to 7 people (or even 11, with the adjoining "Chambre du Palefrenier" bedroom).
The new Kitchen Garden gite can accommodate up to 6 guests.
We invite you to lounge beside our pools (indoor or outdoor, to suit the season) or relax in the spa pool, sauna or the Turkish bath.
If you fancy a massage or a beauty treatment, just let us know when you book - we'll arrange for a beautician to take care of you.

The Merisier bedroom
This bright, welcoming, first-floor bedroom has independent access and a view over the grounds. The room is decorated with toile de Jouy fabric and has a magnificent bathroom. Double bed (160 cm wide, 200 cm long). Bathroom with bathtub and toilet.

The Medicis Suite
The Suite is situated on the 1st floor of the Chateau. The two-person Medicis bedroom has a single bed, a sofa bed and its own shower. The Directoire bedroom has a double bed and its own bathroom with a bathtub.

The 1900 Room
The wood-panelled 1900 Bedroom is situated on the first floor of the Chateau but has independent access. It is decorated with engravings which depict French fashion in the 1900s - a true journey into the past! Delightful view over the grounds.

The palefrenier's bedroom
In Ormieux house, near the castle, this spacious room can accommodate 4 people and is equipped with a bed 160 and 2 beds of 90, she is perfect for families.

5 1Première fois que nous restons 3 nuitées sur place en chambre d'hôtes! Ce fut un formidable séjour: l'accueil est très agréable et nos hôtes vraiment incroyables. Nos chambres étaient top, la cuisine est un vrai plus, la vue de la terrasse est superbe! La piscine a été très appréciée! Entre petites randonnées au milieu des vignes, les découvertes des villages locaux et même un peu plus loin, nos petites escapades jusqu'au paddock des chevaux de la maisonnée...tout est passé trop vite! Un très grand merci à Anne et Xavier! Tout était parfait!

It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
