Time seems to have stopped at Taha'a, secret and wild island that looks like a large, lush garden. The houses blend into this dream and just walk along Ferry paths to discover exuberant flora and largely preserved.
The island of Tahaa, located 230 km west of Tahiti, is 16 ° 37 south latitude and 151 ° 30 west longitude. It is a small island of 88 km2 which shares a lagoon of 290 km2 with its sister island, Raiatea.
Tahaa is a volcanic island, and the remains of the ancient volcano rising from the center of the island: Mount Ohiri (590 m) and Mount Puurauti (550 m). With its rivers and waterfalls, it offers beautiful walks to its visitors. Deep bays cut the coast of the island and its population is simple, authentic and particularly welcoming.
The coral reef surrounding the island is dotted with many motu paradise looks and mainly north right in front of Fare Pea Iti Lodge.

We offer a wide selection of quality guesthouses for all tastes and budgets
It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
Things can go wrong in the best of guesthouses, and the difference between an average place and a great one is how the innkeepers address the problem when something unexpected occurs.
Avoid hyperbole : Reviews that include only effusive praise or complete condemnation are rarely helpful or even credible.
