Overview
Nestled in the stillness of the untouched beauty of the Marche countryside, the Sambuco (from the name of the Elder tree which is the symbol of the garden) is 12 km from Macerata, 18 km from the sea and 80 km from Falconara airport.
The Sambuco is an exclusive location that lies beyond the imagination and transmits a sense of deep peace; this is the real essence of home living and you are made to feel as both guest and friend rather than a customer. It was by chance that the owners came accross it, but they fell in love with it immediately. And following that initial love at first sight, they immediately decided to buy the house and breathe new life into it. It was in this way that, after careful restoration by local craftsmen, the building reacquired its original beauty.
Inside, every space has a different size and layout but maintains its charm of yesteryear enriched by refined details inspired by careful but discrete elegance.
Among the materials used, wood and terracotta prevail. The furniture is antique and the pieces were carefully selected. The colour of the upholstery that covers the inviting sofas and armchairs in front of the stone fireplace includes ivory, blue, brick red, light green and warm wheat yellow. In front of the house in ancient brick, is the garden that is arranged on different levels, where boxwood, pomegranite and rose bushes form a delicate geometry. On the large terrace, tables have been placed for breakfast in the open air, from where the view stretches over farmlands and countless medieval villages that surround the estate.
Another ample space is reserved for the splendid infinity pool, surrounded by a lawn fully equipped with elegant and comfortable sunbeds for relaxing in the sun, and bordered by many-coloured flowers.
A warm welcome, a natural setting, tranquillity and the right dose of romanticism, these are the elements that characterise the Sambuco. An ideal place to relax, for those who are looking for elegance, simplicity and isolation. Here it is still possible to hear the sounds of rural life and the breath of the earth. And, with the owners’ love of animals, to keep you company there’s Oscar, the family dog, a very well-behaved American Staffordshire Terrier who wanders about the house and is more than happy to have guests.

5 1Nous avons séjourné avec mon mari dans ce B&B du 26/07 au 31/07/2019. C'est un endroit des plus charmant avec un accueil par la propriétaire Noemie des plus chaleureux... Cette bâtisse, son jardin et sa piscine sont d'un goût des plus raffinés et recherchés. Cela va de la chambre, au service et bien sûr à l'excellent petit déjeuner. Un grand merci à Noemie d'avoir été aux petits soins pour nous. N'hésitez pas à y faire une halte ou plus, ce lieu est un vrai havre de paix avec en plus une région magnifique.
