Overview

Sadde, a Guest House with an intimate and cosy feel, is situated in a secluded area of the Sardinian countryside.
It is a haven of peace where you can enjoy a break, take the time for a leisurely breakfast and relax in the outdoors. Welcome!

Sadde is an old family stazzo (old Sardinian farmhouse), nestling in the foreground of woodlands in the peace and quiet of this extraordinary corner of Sardinia.
The architecture and natural materials – mostly wood and stone – are those used in the original house.

Here at Sadde you have a choice of both very old, exquisitely furnished late eighteenth-century rooms, with original juniper wood ceilings, and rooms of recent construction with living area and large windows overlooking the gardens.

Your awakening in Sadde is made even more pleasurable by enjoying a cup of hot coffee served in the gardens, relishing our daily baking and homemade yoghurt made with fresh fruit and natural honey.
A savoury breakfast is also available; perhaps freshly collected eggs, served scrambled on a slice of crusty bread and fresh tomatoes.

While you relax outdoors, we will be happy to serve delicious appetizers for you to enjoy along with Sardinian wines or fresh fruit juices.
Our appetizers also include organic vegetables, cheeses at various stages of maturity, together with fruit and typical Sardinian bread and various types of organic, homemade salumi.
All our fare is sourced from our vegetable garden and from selected farms that supply us.

There is a large garden surrounding the house and guests are more than welcome to enjoy this outdoor living area with wi-fi internet access.
It is a wonderful place in which to relax, read (we would be happy to share the selection of books we have available), or just indulge in conversation until late.

The area in which Sadde is located is very well worth visiting. The beauty of its landscape, the nature reserves and off beaten tracks (ideal for trekking and excursions), make it an unspoiled paradise.
We will gladly give you any information and directions to help you explore the many delights of this area.

At only half hour’s drive from here you will find some of the most beautiful beaches and bays of the east coast: Cala Brandichi, Porto Taverna and La Cinta (treasured by kiters e windsurfers), the bay of Capo Coda Cavallo and the village of Porto San Paolo, where you can take a boat trip to visit the Tavolara marine reserve.

In spring and summer Sardinia is rich in cultural events and religious and pagan feasts. Thanks to its central position on the border between Goceano, Gallura and Baronia, Sadde is an ideal base for discovering the magic of this island.
