Overview
Tancamelis is a charming Guesthouse dominating the hills in the wild Gallurashire located just few minutes from the sea.
TANCAMELIS is an intimate hideaways perfect for a great escape and a romantic getaway. This peaceful heaven permits to enjoy the privacy and the enchantment of the rooms. The architect Antonio Manca who did the house project and his wife Deb who decorated the interior and the table will be delighted to welcome you.
The Guesthouse has only 3 rooms: 2 double rooms ( Carramusa and Murichessa)
and a Suite room. All the rooms have private bathroom and indipendent entrance from the garden.
Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:30
Tancamelis can be the ideal starting point to visit the North of Sardinia and to explore the Archipelago of La Maddalena.
The nearest sand beach is just 10 minutes walking far from home. It is equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas. On request we can reserve them for you.
The other beaches are just 15 minutes driving by car or by motorbike.
Santa Teresa and its nice seaport are just 4 km from Tancamelis.
At the port of Santa Teresa is possible to take the ferry for Bonifacio
( 1 hour by ferry ) and it's possible to organize excursions to visit the Corse islands.
The port of Palau is about 20 minutes driving from Tancamelis, here it's possible to explore by boat the famous Archipelago of La Maddalena.
The closer good restaurant is located at 1 km. from Tancamelis, otherwise the most part of the restaurants is in the center of Santa Teresa at 4 km from us. The typical restaurants called "agriturismo" are generally located in the mid of the country, so to reach them it's necessary about 15 minutes by car.
We love pets but we are not organized to accept them.
Children from 6 years are welcome.

- TANCAMELIS is located in the seaside of MARMORATA , 4 km. from SANTA TERESA GALLURA, one of the most famous touristic location of north SARDINIA in front of the Corse. It’s very easy to reach Tancamelis by car and by motorbike,driving on the main road which is the connection with the most important seaports and airports of north Sardinia. Olbia airport is about 1 hour by car. Alghero airport is about 2 hours and half by car. In order to reach Tancamelis it’s important to follow the road indications for SANTA TERESA GALLURA and for LA MARMORATA. Tancamelis is immediately close to the beach of Marmorata, only two minutes driving.

Carramusa room
The name means 'shell'. Here white colour and light blue details are protagonists. So shells, starfishes, old woods taken from sea are its elements. White wood floor, wide shower in light mosaic for lounge moment of relax.

Murichessa room
The name means blackberry, the delicious fruit who inspires the colour of this double room rich of glamour. It's really intimate and romantic thanks to its old style details. The ideal ambience to taste a charming atmosphere, having a real break.

Suite room
Sophisticated and quiet open space where the gray and the beige colours are in perfect harmony with the white wooden floor and the bathroom's mosaics. Independent entrance from the garden. Veranda with relax area and sea view between the hills.

Tancamelis is close to the nice Marmorata beach, just 10 minutes walking from home and the other famous beaches are only from 10 to 20 minutes by car. Rena Bianca, (Santa Teresa beach) and Punta Falcone, the northern most point of Sardinia are far about 10 mn. The famous and incomparable beaches of Capo Testa and Santa Reparata are about 15 mn

Santa Teresa Port is only 4 km from Tancamelis, here it's possible to rent a boat to explore the archipelago of Maddalena (Spargi, Budelli, Caprera...) and for the beautiful French islands of Corse (Cavallo, Lavezzi, Isola Piana) .
