Sovigliano is located in a strategic position, almost halfway between Florence and Siena.
Our holiday farm is set in the Florentine Chianti hills, at an altitude of about 320 metres above sea level.
The property extends across twenty hectares divided among vineyards, olive groves and a beautiful woodland area.
The old farmhouse, with its typical Tuscan brick and stone structure, is centuries old and its current owners fully respected the original structure and the local materials and style when renovating it.
The house has been adapted to the needs of modern life and provides the comforts required when on holiday, leaving the atmosphere of the place intact.
Sovigliano offers its guests holiday accommodation in Chianti in Tuscany, in four rooms and four apartments.
Each accommodation unit has independent access from the garden and all guests can freely enjoy the spacious and furnished green areas, the loggia and the swimming pool.
The loggia of Sovigliano opens up like a stage set onto the beautiful Val d’Elsa and its hills.
On a sunny day, you can clearly see the towers of San Gimignano.
The view changes depending on the light and it is always something that goes straight to the heart.
All furnishings are in country style, as befits the setting, but are always comfortable and welcoming: from breakfast to summer dinners and to moments of relaxation and meetings with the other guests.
The large fireplace can be used as a perfect DIY barbecue.
The hub of summer activity is the swimming pool in the garden, which measures 7x14 m and is equipped with a Jacuzzi area.
The guests of Sovigliano can enjoy traditional Tuscan dishes revisited according to our family recipes.
In our holiday farm the menu changes from day to day and season to season and all dishes are made using only the finest quality ingredients produced by us or in the Chianti district.
Ours is a slow food kitchen; everything is made on request, preferably for dinner.

You will learn every season has its different kind of truffle and we can go hunting at any time of the year, but in May, when the truffle hunting is forbidden in Tuscany.
