Overview
A 200 year old farmhouse in Tuscany, a step away from Montepulciano and Montefollonico, welcomes its guests to a 4 Suite accommodation with bed and breakast service.
Stylish, elegant and simple at the same time. A sort of boutique hotel in the tuscan countryside.
It is hard to say what we are, impossible to classify us with standards.
Follonico is not a 5 star hotel, but a place to enjoy a 5 star experience of Tuscany.
It is our home and we hope it will be your home in Tuscany for the time being of your staying, for all four seasons.
Only 6 rooms, 4 suites and 2 standard. Tailor made services, all our experience at the disposal of a few.
Our motto is Stay Local!.....and there is nothing better than local food for our guests.
We select all the ingredients of our breakfast meals, seeking for very small organic producers when not using our own produce that we shop for in our kitchen garden early in the morning, while you are still embraced in Morpheus' arms.
Follonico is not a product, not an artificial creation set up for the tourist, but something real and alive. Which develops and changes time after time, with passion and lots of effort.

- From Torrita di Siena, follow the directions towards Montepulciano. at the first roundabout, take the first exit towards Montepulciano (SP135). Drive 1,4 km until you find a Junction on your right. take right and immediately left, following a Yellow sign for Montefollonico. Drive then 4km and you will find Follonico on your left, among a huge Vineyard.

BLU NOTTE SUITE
Our largest suite is on the first floor and it has been created where the farmer’s kitchen stood. An amazing huge and well preserved arch divides the bed area from the living area. A very romantic open fire is on disposal for our guests

ALBA CHIARA SUITE
This suite is accessed directly from the garden, through a feature loggia (or gallery). Three areas in sequence provide a series of emotions with views to the east. From the room you can admire the magnificent panorama of Montepulciano and vineyards

ROSSO TRAMONTO SUITE
The smallest of the suites, but perhaps the most endearing. Certainly the most surprising. The concept that was developed is that of a loft - a single environment, without barriers/doors. Three large windows and a door provide amazing natural light

VERDE INTENSO SUITE
Ten steps are the only sacrifice that we ask of you to immerse yourself in this suite, which is accessed by a small private balcony on the top of the staircase. Three rooms at different levels, divided by a few steps of ancient origin.

WHITE ESSENTIAL ROOM
Located in the outbuilding adjacent to the farmhouse, two independent cozy bedrooms with the best views at FOLLONICO In addition a 20 m2 private terrace with the best views where you can relax sipping a wine or enjoy a hot tub

We offer a wide selection of quality guesthouses for all tastes and budgets
It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
Things can go wrong in the best of guesthouses, and the difference between an average place and a great one is how the innkeepers address the problem when something unexpected occurs.
Avoid hyperbole : Reviews that include only effusive praise or complete condemnation are rarely helpful or even credible.
