The Old Hall is a recently renovated Jacobean manor house, set in its own unique and historic estate of 2000 acres in the heart of Cambridgeshire.
A superb country retreat which offers all that is best in country house hospitality. With scrumptious accommodation, real food inspired by tradition, a place to relax or walk around the ornamental lakes and enjoy the abundant wildlife.
The bedrooms enjoy either the finest views across farm land to Ely Cathedral or south facing views. All the rooms have been individually designed and furnished with antiques and hand made furniture.
The bedrooms offer flatscreen TVs, Egyptian cotton bedlinen, tea/coffee making facilities, ipod docking station and the large luxurious en-suite bathrooms all have a roll topped bath, a separate power shower and posh bath goodies.
The Old Hall is located 1 mile from Ely, 12 miles from Newmarket, 15 miles from Cambridge and close to the borders of Norfolk and Suffolk. Ely railway station is a 5 minute drive away and this makes The Old Hall very accessible to London, other major cities and airports.

It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
Things can go wrong in the best of guesthouses, and the difference between an average place and a great one is how the innkeepers address the problem when something unexpected occurs.
