The luxurious guest rooms are reached by the Grand Oak staircase that ascends to the second and third floors. As you reach the third floor, a handpainted mural of formal gardens and cherubs welcomes you.
Each room has a individual heating and cooling, gas fireplace, television, VCR, DVD and CD player, telephone and either a king or queen sized bed. The beds provide a memorable sleep experience, as the mattresses, down comforters, and pillows were personally selected for comfort and luxury by Mrs. Winner.
All bathrooms have been lavishly appointed with jacuzzis for two, separate showers, hairdryers, deluxe bathrobes, slippers and upscale amenities.

It is not fair to compare a guesthouse that charges €75 a night with a nearby property that charges double or triple that rate.
Things can go wrong in the best of guesthouses, and the difference between an average place and a great one is how the innkeepers address the problem when something unexpected occurs.
Avoid hyperbole : Reviews that include only effusive praise or complete condemnation are rarely helpful or even credible.
