Bastide Rose is in the village of Le Thor, 15km from Avignon and 6 km from l'Isle sur la Sorgue and only 2h40 in TGV from Paris.

Welcome to Bastide Rose an old mill on the Sorgue River, a friendly resort in a remarkable setting, where Poppy Salinger-Le Cesne and her family are proud to greet their guests.

Located 2 kms from the small town of Le Thor, and 6 kms from l’Isle sur la Sorgue, internationally known for its antique market, Bastide Rose is a resting-place that mixes the quality of a Boutique-hotel with the personality of a privately owned mansion.

Bastide Rose is a place of special charm, located in a rural setting, but within a short distance of the vibrant city of Avignon.

It is famous for its Musée Pierre Salinger, and its summer exhibitions of the contemporary sculpture in the park and land art on its island.

In the house you can appreciate the softness of provencal life, in the sitting-room or the library where you will find amongst the many art books, the private albums of souvenirs of Pierre Salinger, President J.F Kennedy’s spokeman, who lived here a quiet retirement.

Platane Room

Superior bedroom with a king size bed or twin beds, on the ground floor with a private terrace. Large walk-in shower and two sinks. Adapted to disabled people. Dogs allowed in this bedroom only. No supplementary bed can be added in this room.
