La Finestra Sul Fiume is located on the banks of the river in Valeggio sul Mincio, just a few miles from Peschiera del Garda, Verona and Mantua's lakes, where Valeggio's hills slope down into green pastures that terminate in the river, making it one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Veneto region, made up of vineyards and gardens.

The rooms are furnished and decorated with objects that have a special meaning for the owners and are peaceful and welcoming environments, where you can relax, talk and feel at ease.
Each room has a unique view over the gardens and river, which will lull you to sleep with its slow flow.
All rooms are doubles, with private bathrooms equipped with a shower and hairdryer: they are ideal for a romantic escape, an anniversary or a precious break. At la finestra sul fiume, both night and day are special.

The bed & breakfast also has Wi-Fi internet connection.

For the exclusive use of the guests' pleasure, we have a gazebo immersed in our garden.
It is ideal for dedicating yourself to a good book, for relaxing whilst listening to music or for chatting with other guests as well as enjoying an aperitif before dinner during the summer.

In addition, guests can hire bikes for bike rides.
We recommend the beautiful bike trail along the Mincio's banks from Peschiera del Garda to Mantua, the Sigurtà Park, a unique wonder of the world in Valeggio and Bosco Fontana.

The owners Mattea and Pietro Gandini, who live in the main mill, are happy to answer guests' requests and requirements, providing them with useful information for exploring the territory, hiring bikes to go on bike rides, booking the nearby golf green and making reservations to visit well known vineyards, along the Strada del Gusto, and food tasting of high quality typical products in the best restaurants and trattorie where the art of cooking becomes more than a basic need; it is a custom, a gift and a way of sharing the passion for this generous area.

Valeggio sul Mincio and Borghetto are an excellent base for art holidays discovering the amazing Veneto region full of castles and medieval villages where time seems to have stood still, such as Castellaro Lagusello.

The eno-gastronomical itineraries are just as important, where tastes and scents wait to be fully discovered by visitors.
The moraine hill territory is famous for its vineyard cellars and high quality oil mills.

The region offers numerous possibilities such as: horse riding, fishing, golf, sailing, tennis, museums and antique markets. Very nearby there is Parco Giardino Sigurtà, Gardaland, Movieland, the Cavour water park, the Natura Viva park and the spas Aquaria and Villa dei Cedri.

For golf fans, the Golf Club Paradiso del Garda, Golf Club Verona, Gardagolf Country Club and the Palazzo Arzaga Golf Resort are within easy reach, and for those interested it is possible to organise a trip around the green or lessons with the B&B's owner, Pietro Gandini, a teacher with the Federazione Italiana Golf.
