Welcome to the countryside guesthouse Casa Rural El Olivar, a rural paradise amongst Andalusian olive groves, with a stunning view over the hills and the quiet blue of the dramatically shaped lake.

The farm has been completely renovated into a comfortable and stylish Bed & Breakfast.

Casa Rural El Olivar has five double rooms and 3 flats La Casita in country style.

All five rooms at Casa Rural El Olivar have a stylish decoration with Spanish accents.
These cool rooms are next to each other on the ground level and all of them have access to the large terrace. They all overlook the terrace, the olive grove and the lake.
Breakfast is served under two enormous palm trees on the ample, sunny terrace, or at the breakfast room in the exquisitely restored annex: cool in the summer, warm in the winter.

As the farm is built on a hill, you will find terraces on several levels. De panoramic swimming pool, located at the lowest terrace, has been designed to give you the impression that the water flows in to the lake, when you are in the pool.

The Mediterranean garden continues into the olive grove, which slopes gently to the shore of the lake.

The views are spectacular: softly rolling hills, the enormous blue lake and the deep green olive trees.

We really want our guests to feel at home at Casa Rural El Olivar. Part of the fun is to share our favourite restaurants and tap bars with them. Also we’d love to inform you about the places of interest and the weekly markets.
We are proud of what we have achieved at Casa Rural El Olivar, but one of our strongest points is the personal treatment of our guests.

The white village Iznájar is at the South of the extensive Natural Park La Subbética. The village has been built against a rock and has hardly 2.500 inhabitants, and is located at 1,5 km from Casa Rural El Olivar. In the area you will find more typical white villages, each of them worth to be explored.

In and around Iznájar are many restaurants and bars with a wide selection of Spanish bites and complete meals. The guests of Casa Rural El Olivar can also cook their own meals in the completely fitted guest kitchen. We cook a few times a week for our guests on request.

Iznájar is central at the geographical point where 3 provinces join Málaga – Granada – Córdoba and is therefore an ideal base from which to explore the attractive cultural cities. The cities of Málaga, Granada and Córdoba are just one hour by car away.

Athletes can eat their heart out in the unspoilt nature: walking, make a donkey ride, mountain biking, playing golf, swimming, fishing.... Water fans can practice all sorts of sports on the enormous lake: kayaking, sailing, boat trips.... In the winter, you can ski at Sierra Nevada, just over an hour by car away from Iznájar.

Everywhere in Spain, children are more than welcome. They amuse themselves in the olive groves and the playgrounds.

Décorées avec goût aux accents espagnols, les cinq chambres de Casa Rural El Olivar portent le nom de différentes espèces d’oliviers. Dans chaque chambre la porte est flanquée d’un énorme pot de grés contenant l’olivier dont la chambre porte le nom.
