Overview

"21 la Vallée" is a beautifully renovated U-shaped Alsatian farmhouse located on the outskirts of the peaceful village of Kuttolsheim, situated between the historic city of Strasbourg and the charming town of Saverne. This quintessential half-timbered Alsatian property, painted in shades of light grey and cream, encloses a paved courtyard adorned with flowers and other decorations. Opposite the main building—where the owners reside—stand three charming adjoining cottages, each with a private terrace where guests can relax, read, or even enjoy breakfast outdoors during their stay.
Our Cottages
All three small, independent cottages are tastefully furnished and feature a lovely outdoor seating area. Wi-Fi access is available throughout, and the units are equipped with a kettle and a coffee machine for guests' convenience. While cooking is not permitted inside the guest units, a microwave is available in the breakfast room for heating pre-cooked meals. That said, there is a wide choice of very good affordable restaurants in the neighbourhood.
"Etoile" Cottage
This split-level unit is located at the entrance to the property and is ideal for a family of four or five, or for two couples. Access involves only a single step, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility. It features two separate sleeping areas—one with a double bed on the ground floor and another with single beds on the mezzanine—along with a cozy seating area and a recently renovated ground-floor shower room with a separate toilet.
Ground floor: Living area with TV, kettle, coffee maker, and tea/coffee/biscuits; double bedroom (160 x 200 cm bed); shower room with shower and hairdryer; separate toilet.
Mezzanine: Sleeping area with two single beds (90 x 200 cm) and space for an extra bed.
"Lune" Cottage
This cozy, romantic two-level cottage is situated directly opposite the main house and is ideal for a single person or a couple. The ground floor features a well-equipped bathroom/toilet, a small seating area with a table and chairs, and under-stair storage. As the staircase to the bedroom is somewhat steep, we recommend this cottage for guests with good mobility; the comfortable double bed and daybed on the upper level are always highly appreciated by our guests.
Ground floor: Shower room/toilet, small fridge, kettle, coffee maker, and seating area with table and TV.
Mezzanine: Double bed (160 x 200 cm) and sofa.
"Soleil" Cottage
This recently renovated split-level cottage is ideal for couples, families with young children and babies, or even a group of close friends, thanks to its bright, spacious sleeping area located on the upper floor. There is a small living/dining area with a TV, refrigerator, and coffee machine, as well as a fully equipped bathroom with a shower and toilet, on the ground floor. Its soft blue and beige color scheme and elephant theme give it a unique character.
